The Colts have released G Ryan Lilja! I can't see there is any reason why the Colts would do this outside of a salary dump. He re-signed with the Colts for a 5-year, 20-million deal two years ago. Very quality guard that started all 16 games this past season.

If I'm Pioli, I'm on the phone with Lilja right now! Bring him back home to KC!!!

Um, he's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ryan pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

The trick to get a starting G in the NFL is you have to lick your palms. I know it seems childish, but then again...so is free agency.

Only major knock on Lilja was that he had knee surgery two seasons ago and is a so-so run blocker. He did start all 16 games this past season, so the knee surgery must of went somewhat fine then? If his knock is his run blocking, it still has to be better than what we had. His pass blocking is more than good.

Lilja said, "I don't believe in isms, I just believe in me". Of course, Lilja was the Walrus. I could be the Walrus, and I'd still have to bum rides.

Along these same lines, if we made Lilja run backward, could he go back to when he was good?
