Patriots reached agreement in principle with free-agent cornerback Leigh Bodden.

Philadelphia traded wide receiver Reggie Brown to Tampa Bay for the Buccaneers sixth-round pick in 2011.

Bodden's not confirmed.

Why it's taking so long, I have no idea. He was easily their best cornerback IMO.

With Bodden, they're still struggling to be better than average. Without him, they're in deep shit and in danger of getting passed by both Miami and the Jets.
