That was what Schefter just posted in the running chat on ESPN.com. Figured I'd pass it along.

My sources say Clausen won't go to KC.

yep, no way they will let Clausen go past them in the 2nd.

If we really do get Clausen, it might end up as the best start to a draft in Chiefs' history.

Someone will move up and pick Claussen before our 2a.

That is the assumption. If he is there and the Chiefs pass in the second round... I'll know that my gut feeling about him was shared by a lot of NFL GM's.

If they want Clausen, I think they need to try and work a trade with St. Louis for 33. Problem is, with a whole day to field offers, the price might be higher than it would be normally. Still should be manageable to move up 3 spots...

We can move at this point for one of our 5th rounders to trade up with St. Loser and grab him. I'm in. I'm worried about Minny at 34.
