The Positive Thread

Let's focus on the good that came out of the draft.

Berry is a flat out stud. Nothing more to say.

McCluster has amazing game speed that will be very fun to watch on Sundays. He will be a threat to score from anywhere on the field.

Arenas is a winner, has excellent open-field tackling skills, and if the ball ends up in his hands he is a threat to take it the distance.

Asamoah is just a nasty lineman that will get the job done. He is the kind of guy that we cuss when he is on another team, but love because he is on our team.

Once again, let's keep it positive. If you want to vent, do it in one of the other 11tybillion threads.

I'm happy with this draft so far. I would like a 4th round pick, but I like what we've done :)

Only three more drafts until we have a new GM.

I am too. We addressed some needs with playmaking talent. That is the very definition of a good draft.

Good Job!

It's hard to say something positive, but it can be done! :)

Uhh, ummm uhhh, well Hootie's been gone most of the day so that's positive.

I agree. I'm looking forward to hopefully a couple good picks tomorrow as well.

Do you think we should take Bruce Campbell if we get the chance? I would have no problem using a late round flier on a guy who was supposed to be a 2nd round pick.

Mr. Flopnuts 04-23-2010 11:09 PM

I'm glad we got Berry. I'm glad we got Asamoah. I hope I'm dead wrong on Arenas. We'll see about McCluster. He looks dynamic.

Dream scenario is some combination of Eric Norwoord, Cam Thomas and Bruce Campbell. I highly doubt that happens, though, considering we don't have a 4th now.

It wouldn't be a bad pick IMO.

I am not a draft guru, obviously, so I would ask Mecca what he thinks.

His input is about as good as it gets.

Mecca, any POSITIVE input about Campbell? :)

Berry and Asomoah were excellent picks.

The rest will ensure we have a new GM in a few years.

A few?

This is the Chiefs more like a few decades.

L.A. Chieffan 04-23-2010 11:12 PM

im tellin ya, if we can make a trade and get back in the 4th, grab campbell and tennant or olsen and maybe a key of some columbian gold, we're OK.
