This line looks awfully familiar.

It is also weird. With that Opposing OPS, you'd expect a better WHIP. Without looking it up first, I'm gonna guess this guy walks a lot of guys.

I picked up Paulino in a fantasy league a week or so ago. He's been pitching very well the last month after a rocky start.

Yeah, you are right. He walks a little more often than the aces of his team, but he's still got a decent ratio.

Last 4 starts in particular, 30 IP, 23 Ks, 11 BBs, 1.50 ERA, 1.167 WHIP

And now I've just set him up for a Royal ass-kicking.

Sorry, but this fantasy team has a better chance of competing in 2010 than the Royals do. Win tomorrow night, KC. :D

Cubs are saying they'd part with Fukudome. Should we trade Farnsworth for him?

FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal reports that the Cubs have made outfielder Kosuke Fukudome available for trade.
A move, though, seems highly unlikely. Fukudome is owed $13 million this year, $13.5 million in 2011, and has hit just .261/.367/.408 in his two-plus seasons with the Cubs. He also has a no-trade clause and is able to block a deal to 15 of baseball's 30 major league teams.

His OBP is far too high for us to consider at that price.

I think he is more fit than SS but make they are taking it cautious with him cause of his shoulder and the throwing distance from SS
