Finding a decent coaster
If societies are measured neither by military might nor technological prowess, but instead by the quality of their drink coasters, then I think we're not even in the running.
I need to solve this dilema before the season gets cranking. What say ye? Quality = Not having the coaster stick to the glass for the first 1/3 of the trip only to leisurely freefall at some time hence. |

Salt and a napkin that's all you need.

It's funny the looks I get when I put salt on a napkin. People think I'm nuts until they realize that I'm the only one at the table without a napkin stuck to my beer while it's perched on my lips. |
Use an old Milli Vanili CD.

http://www.rcdb.com/ Or just go to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio; any Six Flags; either Busch Gardens; or one of the major studio theme parks. My favorite coaster: Millennium Force in Cedar Point. Smooth, fast, and a 300' first hill. Second place is the Superman coaster at the Six Flags in New England; only 200' but shitloads of airtime. I also like suspended coasters. (Which are different from inverted coasters. An inverted coaster is fairly common, where you're dangling in some sort of harness or flying position and the track can do loops and rolls. A suspended coaster is where you're dangling in a seated car and the car swings wildly from side to side but doesn't go upside-down. Examples would be the Iron Dragon in Cedar Point and the Big Bad Wolf in Busch Gardens Williamsburg.) |
