Sardines in mustard sauce are good.

I don't ever have cravings for them; but I'll eat a can every now and then.

I google imaged Kansas City sardines
and got spinach and sardine cupcakes

Corn.

That's about how I feel.

Sardines in Louisiana hot sauce are good too.

Sardines on some crackers with some hot sauce is one of the best foods there is.

With mustard sauce, with tomato sauce or with spicy tomato sauce.

I wish I could find fresh sardines. I've seen folks on TV grilling them, usually in some Mediterranean country. Dang they look good.

Sardines and ranch. can't go wrong with that combo.

Love 'em, in oil, hot sauce, green chili, soy sauce, tomato sauce, or mustard.

But not on cupcakes.

I'm not a regular sardine consumer...but about once every two years I get jonesing for some sardines in mustard. Wrap a piece of ironkids bread around a couple.
