Watch out for motorcycles on the road please
 

Twice within a 3 mile stretch on my way home I had some blue hair pull out in front of me. Apparently a horn does me no good either... need to stop by the hardware store and pick up some ball bearings for when the horn isn't enough.

Twice last week I had d-bags on motorcycles fly passed me like morons. One was going between cars during rush hour on the highway. The other passed me on the right on a small no-passing 2-lane residential street, going at least 50 in a 25.

If I later spotted either of them smeared along the road, I wouldn't have even slowed down.

Sounds like a blue hair problem, not a motorcycle problem.

Two weeks ago I was starting to go through an intersection when I had the green light and an assbag turned left on me in the other direction.:cuss:

No deal.

Sorry.

The next blue hair I see, I'm gonna kick em in the dusty muffin and shout "Harleys RULE!"

We'll get this taken care of over time...

I don't blame you... I hate people who ride like that.

When I say that it was a close call though, I mean that I avoided becoming mush by a matter of 3 inches or less both times. I was not speeding or doing anything foolish, just running on the right side of my lane minding my own business.

I saw some idiot on a GSX last week doing a wheelie down 350 in raytown with his legs draped over his handlebars/

I would have laughed my ass off if he splatted.

i've seen them all over; they ride/ stunt wherever.

not good.

most of the stunters I know go to a specific and somehwat classified parking lot to stunt; most trailer their bikes there as they're not street legal.

A lot of bikers out here have taken to wearing reflective construction vests when they ride.

Don't blame 'em one bit after 8 people got absolutely plowed by some ****ing meth-head in a dump truck a couple of months ago.

Question: why do motorcyclists do that little wave thingy whenever they pass each other in opposite directions?

Oh, and since motorcycles are considerably smaller than even the smallest car, of course they are harder to see.
