7 p.m. cst on NFL Network. From 1994 the classic from Mile High in case you get bored with the Homerun Derby.

I have never watched a home run derby.

Mr. Arrowhead 07-11-2010 03:25 PM

HR derby aint nothing compared to that classic

That game was awesome-we had a major storm going and the electricity went off during the drive-it came on right as we scored.

Joe was the man!!

IIRC, Al Michaels was visiting with O.J. in lockup a few days later and all they could talk about was that game.

That game was amazing.. Well at least because of the outcome.. I broke my remote and put a hole in the wall at the same time..

Luckily I do not get that fanatical about sports anymore..

One of those games that you always remember where you were and what you were doing when we scored.

While it was a great game and fun win, it was just another game in a long line of regular season games.

I remember where I was when the Chiefs won SB IV.
I remeber where I was when they won the playoff game against the Jets and the AFL Championship against the Raiders.

But I don't remember where I was or what I was doing for a regular season game against the Donkeys.

The fact that this team has only won 3 playoff games since 1970 has made regular season games far too important for this fan base.

Well to be fair that's considered one of the greatest MNF games in history. Not just by Chiefs fans. Two of these greatest QB's ever... some would say the two best ever, in a 4th quarter duel.

I certainly remember where I was (I'm not a bitter old man like some people). My parents made me go to bed, but I had just put a TV in my room. I stayed up late enough to see the end, then woke everyone up in the house by running around a screaming like a psycho. My whole life the Chiefs got F'd over by that horsefaced prick, and now we finally had a QB who could take us over the hump, and all the way to the Super Bowl (or so I thought).

Mr. Arrowhead 07-11-2010 07:27 PM

I remember i was around 12 and me and my Dad stayed up to watch that game while everyone else was asleep, and when we scored we were jumping around like crazy maniacs, and woke every one up in the house, they were pissed, but we did not care wats so ever.
