No excuses play like a champ.

Huffman83 08-02-2010 05:40 PM

What's your point? You don't have to be out there.

Brock 08-02-2010 05:43 PM

It's hotter in KC than in upper Wisconsin? Stop the presses.

kstater 08-02-2010 05:49 PM

It's currently 28 degrees at the North Pole

ill practice in this weather to make millions, not a bad life.

They will be in even better shape in the end. Temperature is only a factor if you don't hydrate and prepare appropriately.

I went to Basic Training and AIT at Ft. Benning GA from June 1st to the end of September. It was hot as **** and crazy humid but you drank a shit ton of water and adapted.

We cut all the vagina's on the team last year it'll be no issue.

FloridaMan88 08-02-2010 06:11 PM

How many playoff wins do the Chiefs have during the past 16 years under the cool gentle summer breezes of River Falls?

Bring on the heat.

The lame River Falls-KC-area temperature comparison gig was a favorite of Dictator Carl's propaganda machine (usually around the time that Dictator Carl began to douse his first round draft pick's agent with gasoline and light him on fire).

I was just up in GB this past weekend. I can see why Chiefs had their TC there. It was 80deg w/ a cool breeze just about everyday I was there. Of course not all days are like that up there. But a 10deg difference w/ less humidity and a cool breeze makes a hell of a difference.

Not a difference when it comes to winning, apparently.

Hog's Gone Fishin 08-02-2010 06:55 PM

Last year they were too fat to play in the heat, now it's not a problem !

It's awesome up there I definitely miss it

LMAO

Some of you guys crack me up.

Like the only thing standing between this franchise and a championship was training camp in 100+ heat indexes.

Sully 08-02-2010 07:08 PM

Not that I'd have been able to go this year, but leaving RF last year for the final time was actually pretty sad. It was an easy drive for a cheap vacation in beautiful country to see pure football.
