Bruce Holmes?
 

Anybody remember Bruce Holmes? Drafted by KC in 1986 or 87, LB.
I just met the guy last night - right after my fantasy football draft. My wife was wearing one of my Chiefs jerseys, so he spoke to her and let her know that, not only was he a former Chief, but also running for County Commissioner in our county.

He told me that his hit on Joe Montana in the 1987 (?) Hall of Fame Game is why the "two-step" rule was implemented. Can anyone verify this, or was he just talking smack?
