Chiefs in must win against Colts to keep 1st place
Denver caught some lucky breaks, SD is murdering AZ and Oakland is going toe-toe with Houston at the moment.
The Chiefs must win against Indy to maintain 1st place and keep the rest of the division in chase mode. A loss at Indy doesn't hurt as 3-1 is very acceptable. But if we are to maintain sole possesion of 1st we are going to have to kick the **** out of the Colts. |

Um, not exactly...

How do you figure?
If we lose at Indi and go 3-1, even if Denver and SD win next week, going 3-2, we are still a half a game ahead of them and still in sole possession of 1st place in the west. |
Yeah, except that if even if they all win today, they all win next week, and we lose next week, we'll still have a 1/2 game lead in the division. Other than that though, we HAVE to win to keep 1st place.

Oh noes......if we lose in Indy, the season is over!!!!

Why keep silent and let people think you are dumb when you can remove all doubt by opening your mouth?
|
New Math? From what I have seen from Indy so far today, I like our chances.

WTF? Win division games and some out of division and it's irrelevant. Doesn't really matter what they do next week if they lose 3 or 4 of the 5 remaining division games. They'll be too far behind in the division and they aren't getting a wildcard over any of the 2nd-place teams from the other 3 divisions.

I just want to throw this out there, but if a bubonic stomach flu strikes the NFL in two weeks and everybody has to sit out the rest of the season, we've already clinched the division.
