This loss was squarley on Cassel

I know, Bowe dropped a huge pass. Shit happens and that did not cost us the game. What cost us the game, imo, is Cassel going to Bowe regardless of coverage on the 4th and goal play. Castille was wide open but Cassel decided to not even look that way.

Cassel continued not to check off when Indy had 9 guys in the box.

Cassle would not take a shot down the field for anything save 1 pass to Moeaki.

I think our offensive line is blocking well enough to keep Croyle healthy. Cassel has not taken many sacks this year.

So Matt Cassel, go **** yourself with a razorblade soaked in anti-freeze.

We had every chance to win this game and should have. We should have buried the Colts.

The Chiefs had to coach and play around their $63 million QB.

There are no excuses... he's not a rookie, this is his third full season as an NFL starting QB.

This is who he is.

Dallas Clark dropped two passes. Garcon ****ed up it in another throw.

But Petyon came right back and connected with them.

Cassel does not know how to do that.

Cassel is just.......worthless.

It is time to put him out of our misery.

Awesome, I was beginning to worry that Pete wouldn't show up and start a thread about something that was already being discussed in six other threads.

Yes, our QB had a rough game, but to put this loss squarely on his shoulders is a bit short sighted. IF D-bowe catches the sure (well thrown) TD pass then we are kicking for the TIE at the end of the game and who knows what might have happened from there...not a bad spot to be in on the road. Now, our QB did not have a good game but he was adequate most of the game. Those easy dropped passes hurt bad. FWIW, I would like to see what Croyle can do with this line and running game...at least he's not scared to throw it down the field a little.

He is a little squarley.

I don't know if I've ever disliked a Chiefs quarterback more ... and I've absolutely despised some past Chiefs quarterbacks. It's too bad for him that there isn't a professional league for big, blind doofuses.

Squarley on his shoulders. We can't run the ball every ****ing down. He has to be able to complete 15 yard passes. And that noodle-arm throw he made when he scrambled was ****ing horrific.

One very bad play by Bowe < Every bad play by Cassel the entire game

Cassel is the best high school QB to play in the NFL

farmerchief 10-10-2010 02:45 PM

Is Cassel really this bad? I cannot believe he does not survey the field more when looking for a receiver to be open. Or, is the play calling at fault, for not having more options to throw to? I think it is the former and not the latter. He does a terrible job of looking for other recievers, and the force to Bowe in traffic, was horrible!

I, also, would like to see Brodie get a shot. Unless the play calling limits you trying a throw down the field to stretch the defense?

It is limited....due to Cassel

What probably irks me the most is when Cassel sees the line stacked and he doesn't change the play. Either they aren't letting him, which is the coach's fault or he doesn't get it. I seem to think the latter since this is the NFL.
