Like, groovy man...

So we spend another offseason acquiring a QB and some more help at pass rusher, nose tackle, and wide receiver, and go through another "process year" with those new pieces set in place. Then we play the 2012 season and just kick so much ungodly ass and own so many faces it's just not even funny. And when we're about to go to the playoffs and rape everybody to a Super Bowl trophy... the world ends.

I worked at a restaurant equipment company prior to Y2K. We sold food grade storage bins out the wazoo to people convinced Y2K was going to be the end of civilization...it added some amusement to our work day.

The way people reacted to that was so damned comical. I remember that NBC movie about a nuclear reactor that almost got brought down because of Y2K. It wasn't even SciFi quality.

People is crazy. Of course, people think I'm crazy when, year after year, I predict that the Chiefs will be Super Bowl bound. They damn well better win it before the world ends!

I guess they knew about this shit in 1928 too

My God, that was some classic animation!

Max Fleischer Studios absolutely rocked...

No doubt...hard to believe this animation was created in the late 1920s...pretty amazing.
