Anybody been to Tucson lately?
If so, what's there to do? Recommendations?
|
If your lucky you might be able to see some drug runners. In all sincerity I have only been there for spring training. Pretty big place. Should be no problem finding things to do.

I was in Northern Mexico akaTucson last month. Best thing to do there is leave. There is a reason the first settlers got to Arizona and kept right on going until they got to California.

Go to a resort and stay in the resort.
|
I used to go there frequently in the mid-90s and I'd stay at a nice hotel called the Arizona Inn. I think it's still there, and presumably it's still nice.
Other than that, there's a nice saguaro forest outside town, and some kind of old Spanish mission. I went to the forest but never made it to the mission. The forest is interesting if you don't ever see that part of the country. |
Its also pretty close to Tombstone if you're curious about that Old West site.
|
I had to fly there last year for a wedding. **** Tuscon.
|
Brown rocks, brown dirt, brown building, brown everything. If you have never seen a saguaro you might dig on the whole southwest thing for a little while.
|
Desert museum, mount lemon, bum steer cebeno canyon, old tuscon, hi corbet field, hot college broads, good golf courses

Try not to get shot. Good luck

When I spent lots of time in Mesa we did a day trip to Tucson. We mostly did Native American ruins and Clovis ruins. Interesting stuff.

The University of Arizona is in town. If you're young.....hit up 4th street on a Friday or Saturday night when school is in session. You won't be disappointed. |
