Swagger in KC?
Worth a trip? Watching it on Diner's, Drive-ins, and Dives at the moment. Looks good, and I'm heading up that way for Thanksgiving. I'll probably only get to choose where I eat out once my entire time up there, so I need to choose well.

Ate there Saturday night. Baked potato fries were AWESOME. Suribachi burger was pretty good, our friend liked her Waldo Trucker, and my Dead Texan was okay, but a bit dry.
If it's your ONLY chance to eat in KC, there are probably better places, especially if you're up for spending some more money. |

Like to eat at either ridiculously excessive, interesting places (which this looks like... also considering Grinder's), or I want to eat somewhere that's on trend and interesting (locavore, farm-to-table, rustic). |

For your consideration.
http://www.websterhousekc.com Seems to appeal more to wealthy old crones, socialites and catty homosexuals but the food is VERY good, the lunch menu is reasonably priced and the venue is unique. |
Just go to Jack Stack's.
No reason to go to another restuarant. |
This thread should have been a PM to me.
That said, Swagger is a wonderful little place, but if you only have one meal in KC I can think of many other spots that would rank higher. |

Until I moved to Alabama three months ago there wasn't a single person on this board who had his finger more on the pulse of the Kansas City food scene that me. |

It's funny, I just watched that segment on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives last night. I only started watching halfway through the segment though, and I was trying to figure out where it was; they never said at the end of the segment. I had no idea it was in KC.
