Thread on ignore
 

I know the ignore feature is there for posters, but is there a way to put entire threads on ignore?

for firefox you can use Ffvb management tool

ignore threads,highlight threads,ignore users ... bunch of stuff

maybe he is at work and want to ignore the "oh shit moment" thread because he doesn't want his co-workers to see the word "shit" on his screen whenever they walk by.

or maybe it's none of your dam business and you can either help the guy or take your own asshole advice and stay the **** out of the thread.

The threads need more ignores.

Sometimes I ignore the depressing threads, so I don't have to be reminded of them.

I'm putting this request on iggy.

I use the ignore thread option sometimes and it has nothing to do with being offended or hiding something from others who might see my screen. I couldn't give two shits about 2010 Nebraska football, World Cup, basketball, hockey or any other number of huge threads that hover around the first page for extended periods of time. Using the ignore thread option cleans up the front page. It isn't a big deal either way but it's there, so I use it. :shrug:
