Outside of this place being in the middle of nowhere, is anyone familiar with things to do in the area? I know there's a casino (slots only), some canoe rentals, etc... but, what else? Anything in surrounding towns?

A few friends are looking to get away - nothing too crazy and they have their sights on renting a cabin up there for 2-3 days.

Yes, There are some cliffs in the area. You guys should all pack up and drive off one.

After you're done cliff diving, check out Beaver's Bend State Resort Park. Nice scenery and we travel up there on the bike from time to time. There's quite a bit to do and the cabins are modestly priced IIRC.

Also, there's a casino with table games about 10 miles south in Idabel.

I am somewhat familiar with the area, Mr. Mile High Mania. Things to do include;

1. Driving in circles.
2. Driving straight for awhile, turning around, and driving back.
3. Parking and studying maps.
4. Learning Oklahomese while consulting with Quik Stop attendants.
5. Driving in large rectangles.
6. Considering suicide.
7. Looking for gas stations.
