Somehow the team name "Omaha Storm Chasers" allegedly won a fan vote, even though everyone on earth thinks it's a completely reeruned name for a baseball team. And their logo looks strikingly similar to that of the San Diego Chargers.

I don't think it looks like the chargers logo at all. But okay.

Seriously? It's the same colors, the same font, and has lightning bolts in it.

Wow, I can understand distancing themselves from the Royals name right now, but there was nothing better out there? Hell of a marketing group they hired.

Everytime a team chooses its name based on "fan vote," something really terrible happens. I don't trust this "fan vote" line one bit.

Last I checked on the Facebook page, there were 68 comments on this news. 67 of them were negative. I don't understand how fans could possibly have voted for such a queer name.
