Matty is gonna play and have a great game.

3 small incisions? Huh?

I would be shocked if he plays this Sunday. But what do I know?

Big difference between telling a regular patient do what you want as long as you don't have a lot of pain when a regular patient sits behind a desk all day, and someone who is going to try to throw a football as hard as he can while getting thrown to the ground and landed on by a 310 lb man.

Playing a game with no practice the week before? Kinda doubt it.

Yea, there comes a point where you might be doing more harm than good.

Safer to go with the lesser guy whos 100% and been practicing at least.

There also comes a time when you have to stand up and show that you are a leader and a bad ass mofo.

Look how cautious the team was with bringing McCluster back. He isn't going to play. He'll most likely be the third QB.

I don't think the injuries are comparable....He cant re-injure his appendix and be out longer...It is a matter of playing through pain....

Look, I'm not gonna be shocked or even surprised if Matty doesn't play....but I think he will.

True enough, but if he gets crushed on a blitz and ****s up that wound, he could be out for the remainder of the season, and possibly the playoffs, if we get there. And since the Chargers lost last weekend, this isn't the do-or-die game that it was shapin up to be. Still a big game, but....

I've had this surgery. He is not going to play... period. Most likely wont play next game either. Sorry to burst your bubble.

The video I posted has a doctor saying that this is not true....but I don't know anything about it.

If he can go, and the doctors feel good about it, then he should go. The only remaining factor is what Brock said - he'll be going without having practiced the gameplan.

No worries...I am going to hope that he has better doctors and medical care than you and is tougher. Of course I am not going to be surprised if he doesn't play........But I remain hopeful. This is Matty's team.

This. See Brett Favre. He keeps trying to play hurt and he just hurts the team. Swallow your pride and get back on the bench.

DISCLAIMER: I mean this season. He kept trying to play on that ankle and it was clear he couldn't throw.

You're joking right? Do you even begin to understand how many games Farve won while banged up? Wow...
