NFL Fieldpass: Chiefs v Ravens

Differencemaker: joe flacco-ability to win on the road and come back from a fourth quarter deficit. They say we will be in man alot so that will help him out.

Matchup: kc run game vs Bal run defense- can they stop jamaal? If they can tackle charles in space, they win.

Prediction: schlereth picks Baltimore 23-20. Just believes if they stop the run, we cant beat them with the pass.

I hope every news person in the country keeps piling it on the Chiefs.

Not one will offer a retraction after the Ravens lose-which they will.

Chiefs play better when they are the Underdog at home-so Bring it on.

The thing is, the good backs they've faced all have gotten over 4 yards a carry on that defense.

For as much the Chiefs get ripped for having a soft schedule, the offenses that this Ravens team have faced are nothing to write home about.

Heres how i feel...

If the buffalo bills can put up 30+ points on their defense, i dont see why we cant either, at home. Plus im pretty sure our defense is better than BUFFs

I'm going to be redundant here, but if the Chiefs come out and simply try to run against a stout defense that is geared to stop the run, we will not win this game.

The Ravens, with the exception of Ed Reed, have a marginal secondary that Chiefs should be able to take advantage of early with the play action pass, and effectively passing the ball will open up running lanes.

I find it amazing that "professional" analysts ignore these points.

Yep! Need an opening series like the one against the Titans. Not one featuring TJ for 1, TJ for 1 more, Cassel sacked on 3rd down type thing.

AKA the Herm Edwards Offense, Version 2010

We always do better when we are the underdogs. It will be that way throughout the playoffs so I like where we are at.

Very true. If we can't run then the ball goes onto Matt's hands and that will lose the game. Bowe is not enough in the passing game to win against the Ravens.
