Proper way to wash a cap
How the hell do I clean my cap without wrecking it? It is a "fitted" New Era (Medium-Large). 97% wool and it is black.
I had never spent enough on a cap to care before but I would like to keep this one around. My research says that I should spot stain remove then wash it in the machine but only as a delicate and with cold water. I would then place it on an upturned bowl and let it air dry. Clean. The internet has provided conflicting information but this is what makes the most sense. Can anyone confirm or deny? |
Why would you wash it?

R Kelly would probably know what to do

Soak it for an hour in a tub of antifreeze

Take a dump on it and then smash it on your head quickly. The oil from your hair along with the fecal matter will help eliminate dirty stains and that awful smelly fragrance.
