Monster Truck Jam

I took my wife and two daughters to the Monster Truck Jam last night at the Pepsi Center here in Colorado. I figured it would be pretty good and my daughters wanted to go but...

I had no idea how AWESOME it would be. Seriously, we had a great time. Grave Digger was great and there is a new female driver, Nicole Johnson, driving the Tazmanian Devil. She was very good, drove the hell out of that truck, won a few events. Of course my daughters thought she was the best.
We had very good seats comped by Advance Auto Parts. I just thought it was a very good show and the crowd was great also. I will be going to these in the future.
I would love to go to an outdoor event where they had more room, that looks even cooler!

They must have 2 different tours because Grave Digger and the rest were in KC this weekend as well.

Anybody know what the hell ever happened to the Bigfoot Trucks?

I dont know, this was Rod Shmidt, the world Champ Grave Digger dude. This was a great freestyle by GD. Tazmanina Devil was great too. I cant find a video of her though.

Grave Digger had blown his motor the night before and this "El Toro" guy let Grave Digger use his motor for the show we attended. How cool is that. Of course the "El Toro" guy took credit for GD winning with his motor. Ha!

I like it when they get some air and bounce erratically.

I've never gone to an indoor Monster Truck rally, but I did see a truck pull indoors once. It was loud. And smoky. And loud. And by loud, I mean mother****ing loud.

Dennis Anderson is the big dog when it comes ot the Digger drivers. Him and Tom Ments of Maximum Destruction are the two main guys. The driver of El Toro Loco. Monster Muck and An Escalade are all pretty good as well.

Or at least a bigger stadium. That arena looks so small they barely have the room to drive. They’d never be able to maneuver in it without rear-wheel steering.

we just went to one in the Sioux Falls Arena a few weekends ago. it was neat, but the Arena was nowhere near big enough for them to do anything really cool.
