Attack the Block
 

I just caught a screening of this movie. I have to say watching the trailer I was prepared for a PG13 movie about an alien invasion. After viewing this I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it'll be rated R. That is if they don't change anything. It's a great movie lots of humor, gore and creepy aliens with glowing blue teeth.

Nick Frost (Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz etc) is in it in a supporting role. Probably the most famous person in the movie.

It's in the vein of the 80's horror/sci-fi movies. Imagine an R rated Goonies with a bit of Tremors and Critters thrown in for good measure.

Basically: Group of teens see a car get demolished by something falling from the sky. Ends up being an alien. Some more aliens fall from sky and start hunting the kids as they defend their "block".

I love the Brit HorrorComs.

Watched Doghouse the other day and was pleasantly surprised. Like Shawn Of The Dead meets The Hangover.

Release date has been announced. July 29th!

Bump it's opening this Friday in select cities if it's opening near you go see it.
