Auto - ABS Code Scanner

Any planeteer in the KC metro area have a code scanner that reads ABS codes and willing to help a fellow planeteer out? I bought one off of amazon that supposedly reads codes, but it won't read the abs codes on my 02 grand prix......

autozone will pull the code for you. assuming you can get it there.

KCHawg 08-03-2011 06:52 PM

I've never seen an Autozone scanner that will read ABS codes.

Oh yeah - sorry. I misread what you were asking for.

Lotta coin. Snap-On, SPX, or, of course, the GM dealer. Call an independent garage, and see what they may charge for reading the vehicle.

Shameless bump for the morning crowd.

The description said GM '00 and newer models would work with it. Maybe I just need a firmware upgrade.

You are in Sedalia right? My wife will be driving through there tomorrow, what would you charge to scan it?

Of course, now I go out to their website and it says "some" models. Find a PDF and earliest grand prix it does is 2004. Wish I would have seen that earlier, I've waited too long to return it to amazon.
