Best I could do ..

Its early morning. September 11, 2011

Today is a very sad day for most Americans.
We lost 2976 neighbors that day. You all know that I feel that radical Islamist is the disease that must be destroyed. My friend Kurt Schlichter told me there are many Muslims who have helped our troops and for that, I thank them.
The historian in me does know the dark underbelly of Muslims. We have been fighting them for centuries. (Charles Martel to David Petraeus) They refuse to give up till the whole world is a caliphate.
Russia knows them as Chechen, In the Philippines, they are Abu Sayyaf. We know them as Al-Qaeda.
Whoever they are they have fought us for our rights to be free and happy.

Many people died that day.
We should remember the heroes too. Todd Beamer whose last words were "Let's Roll" as he and his fellow passengers stopped the flight 93 from attacking another target.
Rudy Giuliani whose leadership helped New York City copes with the aftermath of this terrible tragedy. George Bush who called for action Helped begin the war on terror and protected us from another attack.

I hope to god people don't forget what happened here. We must remain forever vigilant to protect our history from being changed to show compassion to our enemies.
In this day and age, Che Guerra is regarded as a hero.
Chairman Mao is quoted by people who help run this country. Fidel Castro is lauded for his health care.
Where people to scream the truth no these are evil men. Che was crying like a girl when he died. Mao was so stupid he made his country nearly starved to death. Castro my friend-Irina will be dancing on his grave when he dies. My friend Gabby Hoffman family escaped communism. Now they are proud Americans who know that freedom isn't free.

I hope that all of you pray today think and renew yourself to vow that you will use your voice to speak out and support people who love this country and want to preserve this country. Mark Steyn says that America is on its last legs?
I say let's prove him wrong!
Mark does know that American exceptionalism. Obama doesn't he want to make this day a day of service. Sorry Obozo today is to remember our heroes and the ones we lost and how America will prevail when it's said and done.

"Let's roll"

On the morning of September 11th, 2001, I was on the USS Wasp in Norfolk, VA to do an antenna installation on the mast of the ship. When we went into the maintenance shop, there was footage of a plane flying into the towers, and then a live feed of the second one, which I assumed was for some movie but quickly found out it wasn't. We had to race to the base exit in order to not get trapped on base, missing the complete shutdown by 5 minutes. I reported back to my command, and we stayed on our site for several hours before going home. Soon after I volunteered for the Auxiliary Security Force and spent 7 months working with called up reservists standing duty on the gates and on our shore. It was a very insane time, but it was what happened after that affected me the most.

Due to 9/11, we entered the theaters of Iraq and Afghanistan. Several people I knew went to those areas and worked- including all of the SEAL team members I worked with (I was support comms). One of those men, Nathan Hardy, whom I served with on the USS Harry S. Truman in the gulf, died while on mission. THAT is the after effect of this tragedy, the military men and women who have been lost. I remember the good times and how much life he had, and to lose just one person is too many. I had no idea that by the end of the decade, thousands upon thousands of my brothers and sisters of all services would be wiped away, and it angers me inside- all totally unnecessary, for what?????

THAT is what 9/11 means to me, and I can't take the flags and the songs and the speeches because I have to turn away and reflect... I can't think about it, because it kills me inside. Words could never express what we have truly lost.

Thank You for the service.

Everyone has to deal with it in their own way. There is no right or wrong way.

Thank you. I've been in now almost 14 years, and in that time you see a lot of things that really make you think. We're blessed to be here today, and I am thankful.

So true! I have seen more amputees in the last couple of years than I had in my first 30+, and it tears me up inside seeing that. Of course on the outside I act like everything is normal so that they feel comfortable, but on the inside it is completely different...

Thank you both for you're service. We are blessed to have such men and women in our society.

My thoughts and prayers for those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and those fighting the War on Terror since. Never forget and don't allow history be rewritten in a different light than what it was. It was an attack. Our generation's Pearl Harbor. Almost 3000 innocent people died that day at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists. Those that do not study history are doomed to repeat it. Let us stop it this generation.

I was at the gym when it all happened. Had no clue until hours after it was over with.

Thank you very much. What our enemies don't realize is that America is really a sleeping giant. We enjoy our freedom and we love to help people all over the world, but if you attack us as a country or personally, we will strap everything on and fight with determined ferocity.

This week (first 6 days anyway) I've put in 75 hours helping go after those responsible for 9/11. Today, I'm going to spend some tine with the family and watch my beloved Chiefs play. Seems fitting this week.

I'm here at the WTC memorial right now... I bet I've cried 5 times when these people are memorializing their families... especially the young children who never met their parents.

so sad.
