This team looks like total crap...

soft, no pass rush, can't tackle, can't cover, can't hold ontot he ball, playcalling is horrible and we look like we are just scared.

I don't know wtf Haley's plan was in training camp but it didn't work.

They look awful, but funny stuff happens all the time in week 1. Im not going tinto panic mode until at least 3 or 4 weeks in if nothing has changed.

I bet our offense thought they were good this year playing our defense in practice....

The only reason I am in panic mode is because all the above is true, and no one on the team seems to give a shit.

I have seen two players with they're shoes on the wrong feet. How do you play football with the the right shoe on the left foot?

This was perhaps the most winnable game on the Chiefs schedule. They HAD to win this game to start the season strong.

There is no way to gently talk away how devastating this game is for the Chiefs today.

Many teams have looked bad after week 1, or 3 or 4 then gone on to the playoffs...it happens.

Im far from a homer. I knew the team was going to be bad during the Herm era and expressed it many times during it. I know exactly what this team is. They are far from the best in the league, but not nearly as bad as they looked today. Its silly to jump to conclusions after week 1.

Let's take a look at the schedule...

next week at Detroit... Unless the 0-16 Lions make a cameo I don't see things getting easier for the Chiefs as they (apparently according to Haley's "Grand Plan") ease into the season... do you?

Then the Chiefs go to San Diego... not exactly a game to still be "finding yourself", wouldn't you say?

I'd like for you to look at everyone here with a straight face and say how the Chiefs WON'T be staring at an 0-3 start by the end of September.
