I have been way overdue for an upgrade with my cell phone for a couple years. Went out and did that yesterday, but found out my upgrade was not approved by my company. I bought a Casio Commando (Droid) and fell in love with it, but none the less, it's not good enough to receive company e-mails. I am out and about almost daily and wanted a phone that was rugged. Anyway, looking for suggestions from Chiefs planet. Here is a list of phones that are "approved."

Tell me what you think.

Keep in mind that I have been using a flip phone for the last 3 years. I am likely to be impressed with anything, but want to make a serious upgrade that can do what I want.

how can the commando not be 'good enough' to recive company emails? that doesnt make sense from what i understand about the commando....

I just picked up a Galaxy S II. This phone rocks.

To tell you there is a forum for this, dumbass. It gets plenty of traffic.

Commando supposedly works on exchange I saw the setup for the device.
There is no place in setup to put in ports which could cause issues.Most devices allow that.
Or if it's OWA there is no place to put in the link.

No matter what you buy, if you want rugged then fork out the dough for an otterbox.

My wife is a little techno-geek and she had the HTC Incredible until she just upgraded to the Bionic a week ago. I'm on a Droid X. I like it rather well.

If you must go with Android, then the Samsung Nexus Prime may be a good option if you care about getting support and having software updates available to you.
