Who would trade for Manning?
The Colts take Andrew Luck #1 overall in April, and decide to auction off Manning to the highest bidder.
Who on earth would be willing to trade for him? We're talking a MINIMUM of two firsts for a guy who will be good for one more season, tops. |
NO

not only no, but **** no

I'd say the obvious landing spot is Minnesota, but they seem to like Christian Ponder.
Miami doesn't really have a history of doing this kind of blockbuster deal. The Raiders are out, obviously. The Chiefs have zero history of making such a move. The Broncos would be willing, they are linked to blockbuster trade attempts from time to time. Jacksonville? |

Yes to Eli, No to Peyton. Peyton is done, Eli has several good seasons left. The real question is when are the Chiefs going to draft a quality qb? 2012?

"MINIMUM of two firsts for a guy who will be good for one more season"
Under those circumstances, nobody. |
No I wouldn't. It would just delay the development of the QB we take in the first. :p

Why? so he could be hit 15 times a game like Cassel and end up on injured reserve with a 30 million dollar contract?
|
He's a downgrade from Cassel. /L.A.Chieffan

Why trade for Manning when Favre is a free agent?
|
I got to ask you... Be honest...
A 1 and a 2 for Carson if you had the chance today? |
