Just saw it on the ESPN crawl

The guy could've been a superstar. Seriously.

Buck 12-09-2011 07:29 PM

Yup, sad day for Roy and Blazers fans.

RealSNR 12-09-2011 07:29 PM

Damn. He was kind of the guy that was supposed to make the Blazers super potent.

Kind of ended up going the way of Yao Ming. Too bad.

His knees were bad since college. Everyone in Portland knew this was coming sooner or later.

That Dallas comeback was epic!

Problem was the year before that. He came back way early from a procedure done to his knee/s for the playoffs. At the time the announcers were crucifying him for doing something that may jeopardize his career.

What I don't understand is they gave him that max contract when they knew his knees were gone.

Cuban did say the Blazers were the toughest out in the playoffs.

Yeah, yeah, horseshoes & hand grenades.

I will always remember that series as the series where the Mavs found their testicles.

Yea i remember saying after that game same ole mavs, I was pretty pissed that night lol

Caseyguyrr 12-09-2011 11:17 PM

that really sucks for him, how many years did he have in the league. Couldn't be more than 5 right?

tk13 12-09-2011 11:44 PM

It's really too bad. Between him and Oden, Blazer fans are going to have nightmares about knees for years.

okcchief 12-10-2011 12:16 AM

It's too bad. He could have been a great one. I don't remember if it was game 3 or 4 last year against Dallas where he carried the team on his back in the 4th quarter comeback. One of the gutsiest performances I've seen.

Now they're saying Oden's done for the year again. Supposedly reworking his contract already. For all the good Pritchard did, he shot himself in the foot just as many times.

And LA just had a procedure done for his heart, what next.
