77th Heisman Trophy Winner: Who ya got?

Poll to come...

Who and why?

Rausch 12-10-2011 10:25 AM

Well?...

I gotta go with RGIII
I mean come on he plays for Baylor.

BoneKrusher 12-10-2011 10:32 AM

RG

I think Richardson will win.

I think RGIII SHOULD win. He's the most important to his team. Luck is similar but didn't live up to his billing. Unfair, but that is the way it is.

Voted RGIII. Trent Richardson #2.

That's how I think it will come down tonight.

I think it will be really close, though. There are going to be some voters that take away from RGIII's numbers because he faced 5 teams ranked 99th or worse defensively, and those voters are going to look at what Richardson did against 8 defenses ranked in the Top 50.

Either are deserving, IMO.

We needed a new thread about this??? It has only been done a couple of previous times in the last 2 weeks.

Sorry dude couldn't resist...someone was going to do it.

I agree. I'm trying to be hard on Trent b/c he's my favorite player in college football right now.

I do think that if one views the Heisman as something of an MVP award then Trent shouldn't get it. Alabama would maybe have wound up with the same 1-loss record if they didn't have Trent. Eddy Lacy and Jalston Fawler are perfectly fine college RBs. Add a healthy Dee Hart to the mix and Alabama's run game isn't going to miss a beat next year.

I think Griffin took it the last month of the season.
