I think Clark Hunt fired Haley. I think the game Sunday was the final straw. When you talk the talk like Clark did about building a winner blowout losses are not acceptable. I think Pioli got him to wait till Monday morning but I

don't think he could change his mind. Pioli may have been served notice to shape up as well. If you watched the body language in the Press conference Clark was exuding confidence and Pioli seemed a little shaken.

Hunt should've also fired Pioli for wasting the entire '09 draft, and failing to bring in any big time players via free agency.

I don't think Clark fired Haley, but I do agree that Pioli seemed shaken. Whether it was an act, I don't know. Hunt may have let him have it. Perhaps he informed Pioli that Cassel is gone due to season ticket non-renewals.

When you talk the talk like Clark does, you sit on $30M of cap space and blame your HC for the team's failures.

I do think Pioli is on notice. You can see it in his body language and in his words about he needs to do a better job.
Hunt wants a team that challenges for champioinships and one that the fans can rally around.
