James Harrison suspended 1 game.

Really surprised it was only 1 as much as he's done, and how he ran his mouth this off-season.

THe comment about the Chiefs fans showing poor sportmanship dropped it from 2 games

Johnny Vegas 12-13-2011 12:46 PM

you mean they just made it official now? why did it take so long?

Chiefnj2 12-13-2011 12:47 PM

They should suspend some people on the Browns for putting McCoy back in the game.

I thought throwing Big Ben back out there was an error
McCoy should have been bubble wrapped & sent to the locker room

If the commissioner clearly cares about head shots and the health of players, action should be taken against the team for putting a guy with a concussion back into the game. The team had to know it. McCoy doesn't remember any of the game after the hit (probably best for him), was unable to drive himself home after the game. I'm pretty sure the team only allowed him to be interviewed quickly in the locker room and not on stage with all the tv lights, etc.

Harrison sent out a tweet after learning about the suspension "LOL". They should take 4 games out and then he might get the idea.

Good Lord, I agree with Chiefnj2.

Not to mention they probably would have scored and maybe won had they left Wallace in there.

I just saw 11 former players have sued the NFL for concussion issues including the use of a drug that masked pain but didn't treat the concussion itself. I doubt the NFL comes out and punishes the Browns because they'd be taking a stand on what the procedures should be and they know nobody follows anything.

That guy is a complete moron. I'll bet Pittsburgh lets him go this offseason.

Don't attempt any more replies.

Your post count is special. It will lead the Chiefs to glory.

The guy just needs to be banned from the game. How many times does one need to use their helmet as a weapon to be fired from his job?

Jeff Hostetler played lights out football and won a Superbowl with a concussion. I'm not saying that players should just suck it up and play with a dangerous injury, but the Giants don't win the 1991 Superbowl if Hoss is benched.
