Who is more important: QB or Head Coach?

Who is more important when it comes to winning in the NFL?

QB or Head Coach?

Poll coming.

chiefs1111 12-24-2011 04:33 PM

Shag 12-24-2011 04:34 PM

Bwana 12-24-2011 04:34 PM

QB

jd1020 12-24-2011 04:34 PM

Stupid thread. Obviously the most important people are the ones playing the ****ing game.

Rams Fan 12-24-2011 04:34 PM

Depends.

2000 Ravens, 2006 Bears, 2002 Bucs all had poor QBs but had good teams.

Same thing applies for the Jets, I think..

NJChiefsFan 12-24-2011 04:34 PM

QB. Take away Brady or take away BB? Take away Rogers or McCarthy? Ect ect.

notorious 12-24-2011 04:35 PM

QB for me, too.

I think its obvious.

A great QB can make everyone on the team, including the coaching staff look great.

At best, a great head coach can make a bad QB look decent, but thats it.

Is jd1020 a raging douche or average douche?

Poll coming, in his anus.

Norv Turner is somehow still employed. That should answer your question.

That said, if you told me that we wouldn't be able to employ one of the top six to eight QB's in the NFL, then the head coach becomes more important. Because there are only a limited number of QB's in the league that make your team significantly better...

Umad?

The only coach in the modern era that would be equally important would be Mike Holmgren considering how many QBs he successfully developed.
