Your prayers and thoughts for my family.
 

We lost our home to fire on Christmas day. It was a total loss. None of us were home since we were all at my parents house 40 miles away. Everyone is safe including our dog who was actually inside the house and was able to escape unharmed. This is the worst thing we have ever experienced. We are very lucky we did not have Christmas dinner at home this year. Please keep us in your prayers as we work through a new begining.

God the amount of Chiefs stuff I lost. I shall start again!

I'm curious though, did your dog just stay by the house that was burnt down, or did he get picked up by animal control or something?

Wow, that's terrible. I'm glad that you and your family were okay, and hope your dog isn't too traumatized by his/her narrow escape. The stuff is painful to lose, but it can be replaced.

I'm half-afraid to ask, but do you have insurance? I know it can't replace the irreplaceable stuff, but it would help with the basics.
