Jeffrey Lurie set to announce that #Eagles head coach Andy Reid will return for his 14th season in 2012.

Of course he will, I never understood why anyone was even talking about it. He took teams with a shit tier QB to the NFC Championship like 4-5 times along with a SB appearance. They'd be reeruned to even consider firing him.

you must not know Philly fans then. I live in PA and Philly fans are some of the most spoiled fanbase I have ever met. Because of the Phillies, they expect excellence from the Eagles and since like you said, Andy Reid gives them a CONSISTENT taste of winning, that is not enough for them. So they call for his head every year and I dont know who or what they expect to come in and replace him, because anyone else would probably be a downgrade that's out there really.

Those fans would kill themselves if they had to cheer for a team like the Chiefs. And they are never satisfied.

I realize they're mostly douchebags, but seriously how can you think there is anyone better out there, especially after Mcnabb left and showed what a crap qb he really was all those years Reid took them to the NFC championship and beyond. I'm not going to waste the time to compare records and stats, but would guess only Belicheck is a better coach than Reid in the entire NFL.

I would love for those assholes to be Chiefs fans for a decade or two.

i agree Eagle fans are douchebags but Reid hasn't won shit in 13 years in a city that has NEVER won a Superbowl. Hard to call them spoiled or irrational for wanting a change at the top.
