I'm sick of this ****ing purgatory the Chiefs have placed me into. Where I'm numb to all the losses because every time we win a game it's absolutely meaningless. And each game is meaningless because it was won by a QB who can't improve and can't win even a single goddamn playoff game, yet is the de facto starter because we "have no other options."

It's making me pine for a QB as talented as Kyle Orton. And when you're pining for Kyle Orton, that's never a good sign.

I'd gladly take him over Cassel, but I don't think he'll want to play here.

I'm tied to that wagon, too, hoping we get some frequent enough gully washers, to flush the piss out.

I'm done with the pipe dream. That's all it is. Orton is our most reasonable hope at this point.

I think if he knew for a fact he'd have a legit shot at starting he would sign here in a minute.

If I'm Orton, there's a Seattle, Washington, Miami, Cleveland, or hell... even a friggin Buffalo, Oakland, Arizona, or EVEN a New York Jets job. I would assume that getting signed onto those gigs means I'm the actual starter. Why compete with the GM's pet reerun when I can have a starting job right now?
