Last week Bill Muir informed the Kansas City Chiefs that he was retiring which opened up a hole at offensive line coach on the Chiefs 2012 coaching staff. Until now, we hadn't heard of any candidates for the job.
Mike Garafolo of the Star-Ledger reports that New York Giants assistant coach Jack Bicknell Jr. talked with the Chiefs earlier this week about the offensive line coaching position. Currently, Bicknell Jr. is the Giants assistant offensive line coach behind Pat Flaherty.

The last name Bicknell sounds familiar, and it should. Jack is the brother of Bob Bicknell, who was previously an assistant coach with the Chiefs (and currently on Chan Gailey's staff in Buffalo).
The Chiefs have positions to fill at offensive line and assistant offensive line. Romeo Crennel indicated this week he knows what he wants to do at receivers coach so the offensive line might be the only position remaining that's still open.
