Tempur-Pedic beds

Found a good price on one. But are they worth it? Who owns one?

Does it sleep hot at all. That is really the biggest issue for me.

Depends how much you heat it up before sleepy-time.

HAHA.

Also, how does it compare to sleep number beds? I am noticing that the sleep number bed is actually more affordable.

Memory foam owns.

I dont have a Tempur but I have a 4" MF pad on my mattress.

It doesnt retain any heat.

We have an extra firm, super-king Tempur-Pedic and it's extremely comfortable! The generated heat can be annoying at first, but it's not too bad once you get accustomed to sleeping "warm". It's great in the Winter though, (when you're freezing your ass off).

I never flip ours either, I just rotate it every 6 months to distribute wear. Which isn't a problem either. We've owned it for a couple of years now and it still looks brand new.

Sleeping warm is something that worries me. I don't mind it at all in the winter, but if I am sweating in the summer, that is a huge problem.

Really though, I think the major drawback for you is going to be that it costs money.

Hahahahaha - you just don't get him. He doesn't mind spending money as long as it's good value. If it's overpriced crap then he has an issue.

I have heard that some people have issues with the middle of the bed since that is a non-adjustable area. I generally stay in my section of the bed but I can't help but wonder if when I roll over into that middle section, will it wake me up. Keep in mind that I am not a very heavy sleeper.
