Would you rather?
 

1. Have been able to sign Manning, Saturday, and Clark, and give the Chiefs a good shot at an AFC championship for the next two years. Knowing of course, that these guys are on the final legs of their careers and salary cap wise, we'd be strapped for a few years.

Or

2. Spend roughly the same money on a couple of guys like Soliai and Winston, and probably a few fringe guys like Tolbert, and then bring in Jason campbell to compete with Cassel and Stanzi. Knowing that you'd have a much younger core.

I'd rather take option two. Of course, I think the chiefs do neither and sign a few cheap guys and were in for more of the same.

All indications so far, its the “neither” option.

Wouldn't take Campbell or orton on a bet. No deal, no way. They are the same, keep us from getting a quality QB, QB chiefs have been used to for 30 years

I'd take Bruce Campbell though.

Not necessarily agreed with your free agent choices, but I would rather we spent it all on talented free agents to solidify our weak spots than bring in Peyton for a couple of years.

besides, if we don't address right tackle; Peyton would get killed in a couple of games anyway
