Just heard from a buddy in Vegas that O'sheas is closing after this weekend.

And before Nzoner posts, O'sheas is/was the best bar in Vegas.

Cheap drinks, good atmosphere, decent bands and beer pong.

Place is a dump.

yep. found that out when I was there a few weeks ago. Did a few irish car bombs there in honor of its hospitality. Only place on the strip with $5 irish car bombs. Was also the bar Rusty won a car in front of on Vegas Vacation. :D

Texted my best friend who's been to Vegas each year for the last 23 years. She said "OK... no real loss." Her words... I've never been there.

It's not being permanently closed. It's just being moved into part of what will soon no longer be Imperial Palace (it's being rebranded under another name).

I have always liked that joint, it's had a good atmosphere and was always a good time.
The place was getting to be a dump though and on that part of the strip, it could be much better.

The last couple of trips, I've been preferring Bills across the street more anyway.

+1. You can go to a cheap shitty bar anywhere. Why fly all the way to Vegas for that?
