Do you have Powerpoint?

On the computer you use most often for personal stuff, do you have Powerpoint?

(And the computer you use most often for personal stuff could indeed be your work computer. There is no judging here.)

I'm asking because I'm wondering if we can put some Sandbox Football tutorials in Powerpoint or if I need to figure something else out.

Yeah.

It comes with the pirated version of Office 2010 Professional

Yep. What do you need to put on the slides? Images and such?

patteeu 08-22-2012 10:22 AM

I voted no because the computer I most often use to surf the internet (Windows 7) doesn't have it. But my macbook sitting right beside that computer has it when I need it.

As I said, there is no judging here.

Yeah. We might have a video on youtube to do some tutorials, but as an initial intro to the game I thought it might be nice to have a presentation. But that only works if people have powerpoint, and I wasn't sure if it was as ubiquitous as Word and Excel.

I'm glad that we live in a world where a windows and mac can live side by side in peace.

You could also take advantage of websites such as Zoho, which will allow you to view Powerpoint files online without needing Office installed.

Microsoft provides a free PowerPoint viewer utility as well.

Nope

Thanks for the tips, fish and phish.

(What are the odds of that?)

Just use slideshare after making the powerpoint.

That would have worked better if your name was still NewFin.

I hate Powerpoint. Only because I had to teach it to 150 of "In one ear, out the other" women. NEVER AGAIN!

It's ridiculous having to start my training meeting talking to the staff like a bunch of 10 year olds. "Ok, now does everyone have pen and paper to write this stuff down so I don't have to repeat it 50 times?"

Yeah, I don't work there anymore.

I hate it as well.

The worst in the world are the "presentations" where the presenter just reads their slides to you.

Prezi is pretty sweet to use if someone is looking for something a little cooler than powerpoint.
