How does your retirement funding work?
 

Excluding social security, what's your deal on retirement funding? The poll will take a few minutes for me to put up, but the delay is primarily to compound your interest in the topic.

401k + Roth IRA + Pension + Personal Savings = Awesome

I contribute money but my employer doesn't match it.

Spend an assload of money buying a percentage of the firm, increase your share proportionally as previous partners retire/get bought out, hope the firm lives long enough to buy you out at a kingly sum like it did the people you paid for when you bought in.

So not quite as nice as those state-run jobs where they just give you 90% of your salary until you die.

The more I think about it, it would be funny if austinchief had one of those mile-long "terms of agreement" when you sign up on Chiefsplanet, and buried in there somewhere you have to pay 5 cents per post. That could be his retirement plan.
