Good move. He's not an all-star by any means, but I'll take him at a small contract for a year or two while we find his replacement.

He won't find another team that would pay him any more so he may as well sign the new contract here.

If it keeps us from taking a DL at 1, all about it I am.

Glad to hear they are working on getting our own guys extended. Jackson is a good football player, his draft position isn't his fault.
