Dull pain in my right testicle and groin area and in my lower abdomen.

First felt it about 2 hours ago and its pretty shitty.

Is this what a hernia feels like?

Inguinal hernia. I've had one before. Repair wasn't fun. Doc did it the old fashioned way, so I have a nice half-moon shaped souvenir just Northwest of my junk.

Does anyone ever get shooting pains (like ones that almost double you up) in your junk? Almost like the throb after getting kicked in the nuts, very sharp and painful. Then they just go away as quickly as they came?
