What Major US city will have the next major catastrophe?
 

I don't honestly know what city I would count Sandy for so I'll just say NYC.

Before that it was New Orleans and prior to that NYC for Sept 11.

I don't know if Sandy should even register on the same scale.

Its inevitable that we are going to have another big one, where do you think it will happen?

Sandy is a sign of things to come on the Eastern seaboard.

If not that, your area is overdue for a huge earthquake.

Sandy hit the most densely populated area of the country and killed just over 110 people. The tornado that hit Joplin, MO in 2011 (population 50,000) killed 158.

Making my call;

New Madrid fault snaps, Memphis is underwater when the Mississppi River shifts its banks.

New Madrid goes its gonna be a lot more than Memphis. St Louis would be toast.

Also, had the Joplin tornado hit on a weekday and 1-3 hours earlier it could've put the death toll close to 500.
