Cheapest Route to Buy an Unlocked Cell Phone?

Hey guys, exactly how it sounds. T-mobile contract expiring this month and want to change carriers, but since every single one of them are just as evil as T-mobile, I wish to buy an unlocked phone, specifically, Galaxy Note II, and go with Straight Talk for unlimited everything at $45/month. Does anyone know of how I can get this for the best price possible?

Edit: I only require responses from the superior race, you know who you are. Clayton Bigsby has spoken. (change it Phobia, you spelled it wrong)

T-Mobile has done away with contracts.

Also, you do not need to unlock for Straight Talk. Just order the correct SIM.

Yes but their cheapest plan is $50/month with unlimited text and about 250 MB internet. Plus they make you pay the full price of the phone in a two year period by adding monthly payments onto your bill. I'm paying $70/month for a crap phone and 200 MB. If I bought the Galaxy Note II and used their $50 plan. I'd have to pay $20 extra per month for exactly 2 years to pay off the phone completely. It's essentially a contract without them officially saying it is such. And if you decide to leave T-mobile during that time you have to pay the difference of what's left. They are deceiving people in their commercials because they don't tell you about the added extra payments to completely pay for that phone. No thanks with their underhanded BS.

Also I heard that if you do get an unlocked one, then get one that was Verizon since the sim card uses that network and it's the best one. Is this true?

Have you seen your roast yet?

It makes sense though. They give you a 800 dollar phone for 200. Got to make that back somehow.

NO. Verizon and Sprint do not use regular SIM cards, just LTE SIMs.

As of now, Straight Talk cannot access LTE.
