Kansas City police were looking for a man who stabbed another man in the buttock after an argument early Tuesday.

The 45-year-old victim was with a group of people at a home near 81st Street and Olive Avenue about 3 a.m. when he confronted another person about an incident that happened a few weeks ago, police said. The other person got angry, chased the victim across the street and stabbed him once in the left buttock.

The attacker fled south. The victim ran to 80th and Prospect Avenue, where he met an ambulance. He refused to cooperate with police officers, police said.

Police found blood in the street at 81st and Olive.
