Would you trade Flowers next year?
For a 2nd round pick? We've seen the defense play just as good if not better without him.
If Cooper continues to play like he has been you have him on a 4 year 7th round pick deal. You have to pay Justin Houston. I wouldn't be surprised to see Charles hold out given the way he's being used and his current bargain contract. IIRC Berrys contract will be up in a few years too. The defense is set the offense needs a lot of improvement obviously. An extra pick would help. I would make that trade. |
Nope.

Yes, next year will be a rebuilding year.

I'd trade you for a bag of hog jizz.

No. You don't go trading away prototypical cover corners in their prime. When healthy, hes at worst a top 10 corner. |

Houston will need a lot of money so he's going to be a big hit starting very soon. You'd have to imagine that they'll want to lock Smith up as well (barf!). Hali is taking up a shit ton of space; maybe we could restructure somehow to bring his hit down. |

You can restructure guys, naturally let guys leave, Dunta for sure wont be back, they don't have max draft picks to worry about signing. I believe that Chase Daniel will be gone next year, which will open up another three mil. They should get Albert signed to a longer deal that will be more cap friendly with more guaranteed money. And, furthermore, its WAY too early to be talking about NEXT SEASON. This isn't Cleveland for Christ's sakes. |

First we bitch that we let Carr go for 50MM. Then after we find a 7th round gem we are willing to trade Flowers. WTF?

It's a quarterback's league. When you have guys that can stop quarterbacks, you keep them.
