Love was a tackle with the Patriots, not an end.

I'd be pretty stunned if Love is in playing shape.

The guy's not been on a team all season. As near as I can tell he hasn't played a snap.

We're pretty late in the game to be grabbing street free agents, even if Toribio does suck.

Ideally he'd be ready to go and Poe can get some breathers here and there; I think the workload is really starting to tax him. That said, I'd be pretty shocked if he's anything but filler.

We need to put a little more effort into the backup NT position next year. Poe will break down if we don't.

He messed up Lilja

Considering he signed just a one year deal, I'd imagine they think he's in playing shape.

DT Anthony Toribio was waived in a corresponding roster move. Released by the Patriots in May, Love couldn't make it past final cuts with the Jaguars. He'll be making his 2013 debut if he's active for Sunday's game against the Chargers. Love has 25 games of starting experience, and provides insurance for a defensive line that could be missing RE Mike DeVito (knee) in Week 12.

Pretty sure Dorsey had him work out prior to hiring him.

I bet he's in football shape....

I don't care how many drills you run him through, you can't know that until he actually puts the jersey on.

We'll see.

I liked him as a potential value signing in September. I just don't hold out a whole lot of hope for a wide-body being able to come in and make a contribution after sitting out this long.

Those fellas have pretty tough motors to keep running...
